'I have been training with Adrian now, since November 2010. I went to him to specifically train for a couple of sporting events I had coming up. I had a kidney transplant back in 2008, and I have become involved in an organization called Transplant sport UK, which is a registered charity. Its two main aims are to show how transplant patients can lead a normal life, its other aim is organ donation awareness.
There is a UK games every year, and is run by a professional organization, with between 500-800 athletes attending. There is a variety of sports you can do, but my main sport is 100 and 200m, also long jump. I competed in Belfast in August and thanks to Adrian, gold and two silver medals. Adrian has concentrated on my strength and stamina, as I was getting to 80 metres and ‘hitting the wall’. The training we have done has really helped me sprint all the way through to the 100m line, and has got me to do the 200m with good results. So a BIG thanks to Adrian, without your expertise, i doubt i would have the medals i have. Training continues now, hopefully i will get picked for the World Games in South Africa in 2013.'
